Does anybody know where the nextflow operator documentation page is? I found links to https://docs.seqera.io/nextflow/operator but this returns 404 šŸ˜•
p
@Chris Hakkaart should this be a redirect?

This page moved 2+ years ago, but it looks like the redirect was dropped in the migration. The page it was trying to link to was: https://docs.seqera.io/nextflow/reference/operator
I'll add redirect back on the nextflow side

I was going to fix the docs. But this is the old old training docs, before we did the rewrite. Deprecated even in the v2.1 version you linked to. So I don't think that there's anything to fix. And tbh Chris this is pretty old material, so not sure how often it's being hit? (but I guess it doesn't hurt..)

We should keep redirects active, but 2+ years seemed like a reasonable time cut it. I suspect. I can't remember each specific link.

I feel one issue is that googling "nextflow operators" gives the old training page first, and then the dead link. To find the true operators page, I had to go through seqera's search bar
p
ok so two things: • make operators easier to find in the docs • see if we can mark the old versions of training so that they don't come up in google results

I've added the redirect back for now - not a solution, just a patch

I'm currently setting up Netlify
_headers
configuration to set HTML request headers to
noindex
for all but the
/latest/
versions on the training
Hopefully that should help šŸ¤žšŸ»
Confirmed present on all versioned docs, and absent on
/latest/
