When I run
nf-core m update
with the latest conda package of tools I always get this error:
FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'prek'
does anyone else have this issue too or did I mess something up 😄
p
yes same here, you need to install it using:
conda install -c conda-forge prek -y

no worries
I overread that message above, my bad 😄
m
it's fine, wasn't too clear what was going on in the message above 🙂 curious, did you install tools 4.0.2 and still had the error?
👍 1
ah, nevermind, @Jim Downie suggestion never made it into the pr.

Are there other tools missing/changed that need to be fixed? Something about diffs? I see
pdiff
is commented out
m
hmm, not sure why pdiff is commented out tbh.
it should be a dependency, because we use it for
nf-core m test
j
And never previously a dependency that I can see
m
yes, that was part of 3.0.0
j
I mean, the line was added to the recipe as a comment
j
It’s never been actually included
m
would have been helpful why the needed to comment it out...
j
I can try uncommenting and see if the build fails

Ok, Bioconda recipe updated with
prek
and
pdiff
and building correctly. Waiting for a review and then this should be fixed!
