I still don't understand why we capture the glob in the meta.yml, so I don't think that your "What's lost" is a relevant negative

I do have an ulterior motive in the form of a use case: https://github.com/nf-core/modules/pull/11317 (this would be the actual, proper fix to the trimgalore module my weekend brain failed to appreciate). ... but right now it would have to be merged with failed linting
