related, does anyone know if it's possible to control k8s executor pod/job names? add a prefix or anything?

pod/job names are easier to read at a glance vs annotations/labels

Does the process `tag` do it? I know that sets job names on slurm, for example

Nah it doesn't for k8s, it uses the workdir directory like:
`$NXF_WORK/4a/4gda43...`

would become `nf-4a4gda43...`

also this needs to work workflow agnostically

it's fine, I'll just use a pod / job annotation, it's just slightly less readable at a glance
