Hey All! Just found an interesting tool called METABOLIC and I wanted to ask if it could be a good fit for funcscan (I'm specifically interested in the METABOLIC-C module). https://github.com/AnantharamanLab/METABOLIC There's an Anaconda package (sadly, not Bioconda) available for the latest published version of the tool (which is from 2021): https://anaconda.org/channels/hcc/packages/metabolic/overview There's also a Docker image available in Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/tin6150/metabolic/tags

Hrmmm, I think this would make more sense for @Olga Brovkina’s #C0ASY6CAE9M as this appears to be more more 'generic' in the sense it might cover many more gene types?
This looks pretty generic for example:

This is the first time I hear about #C0ASY6CAE9M and I can't find any info about this pipeline. Has it just been recently proposed? What is its focus going to be?
j
Yes, as of last week šŸ™‚
We also discussed it in the #C070369GP7T meeting 2 weeks ago

Cool, thanks for the info. What do you think, @Olga Brovkina? Could this tool be useful as a module for #C0ASY6CAE9M?

Maybe re-post your request on her channel to get the aciivty going there!
