thanks @Sofia Stamouli I've just started to test taxprofiler today. Updated to 2.0.0. just now. For some clarification. I was looking at the taxpasta docs. I have to download the taxdump files from ncbi I guess for the --taxpasta_taxonomy_dir dir where I exact taxdump.tar.gz. Am I correct?

Exactly!
