Hi, I'm running into this when using a parameter on the command line, e.g.

nextflow run . -profile test,docker --outdir results --skip_rank_variants

with

export NXF_SYNTAX_PARSER=v2

. Any ideas?

ERROR ~ Validation of pipeline parameters failed!

 -- Check '.nextflow.log' file for details
The following invalid input values have been detected:

* --skip_rank_variants (true): Value is [string] but should be [boolean]

In my schema:

"skip_rank_variants": {
                    "type": "boolean",
                    "description": "Skip ranking of short variants"
                },

It's a known issue with strict syntax parsing. I have a fix ready and will release it soon
