That was fast

sed
s/process.out.findAll { key, val -> key.startsWith("versions")}/topics.versions/g

We could even just make this
topics
One side effect of this is that tests using modules in their setup will also have that in their topics output 😛
(Just something to keep in mind)
j
I would want to separate out versions (should be stable) from other topics like multiqc files (might not be stable)?
n
Fine by me 🙂 it depends on the module of course

topics.find { a, b, c -> a == "PROCESS_MYPROCESS" }
if you're at all bothered by this, I guess
n
you might even do
topics.find { a, b, c -> a == process.name }

Did not know that was a thing!
n
I've not tested this but each process and workflow variable has an attribute name that contains the process name
Yeah I only know it from working on the code for the topics 😁
j
One for the docs!
n
Yeah they are definitely in need of some love! Might be a good project to lead for the next hackathon 😁
