Hi folks! @Ben Sherman has put together an ADR for Nextflow pipeline spec, currently in discussion: https://github.com/nextflow-io/nextflow/pull/6900 TLDR: • We are keeping the original structure of the nf-core schema in the "official" Nextflow pipeline spec -- no breaking changes • We will add new sections over time, mainly for general metadata and workflow outputs • The only change is that the file will be called

nextflow_spec.json

instead of

nextflow_schema.json

. Tooling working with schemas will need to be updated to check for both files -- use

nextflow_spec.json

by default, otherwise fall back to

nextflow_schema.json
