Hi, I'm having problem with matching the snapshots...

Hi, I'm having problem with matching the snapshots where I created locally to the one ran in CI on github. These files were not created when I ran nf-test locally, but appeared in the CI run:
"multiqc/multiqc_plots/pdf/samtools-flagstat-pct-table.pdf",
"multiqc/multiqc_plots/pdf/samtools-flagstat-table.pdf",
"multiqc/multiqc_plots/png/samtools-flagstat-pct-table.png",
"multiqc/multiqc_plots/png/samtools-flagstat-table.png"
"multiqc/multiqc_plots/svg/samtools-flagstat-pct-table.svg"
"multiqc/multiqc_plots/svg/samtools-flagstat-table.svg"
My command used for creating the snapshot:
nf-test test tests/default.nf.test --profile=+singularity --update-snapshot
and here is the run that failed. I wanted to try updating the snapshot in codespace but got this error
This codespace is currently running in recovery mode due to a configuration error.
. Any idea why this happened? 😞
s
do you have this line in your
.nftignore
?
j
i have this
s
try the pattern with wildcard to allow all intermediate subdirs
Copy code
multiqc/*/multiqc_plots/{pdf,png,svg}/*.{pdf,png,svg}
m
Not created locally? Which MultiQC version are you using? Which OS?
j
@Sateesh_Peri i tried with your suggestion, but it still gave the same failing error, these files were not created in my local test snapshot
@Maxime Garcia local as in on the server, we are on linux, and the multiqc version is 1.32v
s
there is a newer version of multiqc
✅ 1
m
I would try 1.33 as 1.32 had some issue with some pictures

i tried your suggestion, but still ran into the same conflict
s
try codespaces again plz....cant help if we can't reproduce it
j
i tried to set up codespace but ran into this error:
This codespace is currently running in recovery mode due to a container error.
1. Use Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P -> "Codespaces: View Creation Log" to see full logs
2. Update your devcontainer configuration as needed
3. Use Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P -> "Codespaces: Rebuild Container" to retry
4. For help, read more about custom configuration: <https://aka.ms/ghcs-custom-configuration>
mkdir: cannot create directory '/root': Permission denied
codespaces-1f192b:/workspaces/methylong$ touch: cannot touch '/root/.config/vscode-dev-containers/first-run-notice-already-displayed': Permission denied
s
I am also getting the same error with codespaces
j
as in, for the setting up of codespace?
s
yes
j
hmm.. im not really sure how to proceed from here..
s
a full rebuild of the codespace worked for me
pushed to branch
j
thanks @Sateesh_Peri, I managed to full rebuild too after making
/workspaces/methylong/.devcontainer/setup.sh
executable :))
