Hi all, Is there a way to change the header of a subsection or change default display to percentages? I am having this problem with samtools, header is percents mapped, but count is display by default, instead of percentages. This is a bit unclear for someone who doesn't familar with the report. Thus, I am thinking of changing the header or display percentages by default. I would truly appreciate your inputs!

Quick fix: Add this to your
multiqc_config.yaml
file:
custom_plot_config:
  star_alignment_plot:
    cpswitch_c_active: false
What it does: Makes the STAR alignment bar plot show percentages by default instead of raw counts when the report loads. Users can still toggle between views using the "Counts/Percentages" button. Key Configuration Parameter The critical parameter is: •
cpswitch_c_active: false
- This sets the initial display to show percentages instead of counts When
cpswitch_c_active
is: •
true
(default): Shows counts view initially • `false`: Shows percentage view initially Finding Your Plot ID To find the specific plot ID you want to modify: 1. Open your MultiQC report 2. Find the bar plot you want to change 3. Click the "Export..." button on the plot 4. The plot ID will be shown next to the checkbox (this is what you use in the config)

It works. Thank you so much. It's great to know that Seqera AI is able to give such a detailed and accurate answer!

Great! Yes I use it more and more for helping folks now - even though I wrote the tool and know that there is a config attribute to do that, it takes a bit of time to remember what it's called and how it works šŸ˜
