    Hello all. I am currently one of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineers working for the api behind the Web and Mobile app of Austrian post. I am new in Nextflow in general and I am trying to follow the agentic engineering path. So while it seems that some very first workflows that were created using llms are working, I cannot say that I am actually learning the tool. I believe those new in nextflow might have experienced the same. Any advice from the experienced ones ? Where should one draw the line ?

    Hi, I’m looking for some book recommendations to study from. I want to strengthen my molecular biology fundamentals, learn bioinformatics and its algorithms properly, and also find a good book that combines machine learning with bioinformatics. Could you please suggest some good books for each of these areas? I’m looking for books that are actually useful for learning from the basics and building strong fundamentals.

    The second issue was that we had a genome sequence for the fly, but what  did it all mean? We had to go further and analyze it, as we had done with  Haemophilus four years earlier, if we were to publish in a journal. Annotating  and describing the fly genome could take well over a year, a year that I did not  feel I had because our focus now had to be on the human genome. In discus­ sions with Gerry and Mark, we came up with a novel way to solve the prob­ lem, one that would involve the Drosophila scientific community, be exciting  science, and move things forward rapidly. We decided to hold what we termed  an "annotation jamboree," inviting top scientists from around the world to  come to Rockville to analyze the fly genome over the course of a week to ten  days. We would then write up our results and publish a series of papers on the  genome.

    Hi everyone! This is a random, naive question - I’m new to Nextflow and nf-core. I’ve spent the last couple of years building analysis pipelines on an HPC cluster (Slurm and shell scripts), and I recently just started moving them into Nextflow. I was just added to the nf-core GitHub org, and I’d like to help out, but I’m not sure where to start. Is there a good first task for someone at my level, like docs, configs, or a small module? And is there anything else you’d suggest for getting involved in the community?
