Does anyone know the policy around making a new package for an existing one? the GATK4 package is over 2GB 😱 but the actual main usable for stuff for variant calling is under 500MB, I was considering GATK4-lite but I don't know what the policy is around opening another package recipe in bioconda...does anyone know of any precedent here?

Hi all, could someone review a small ariba recipe fix? bioconda/bioconda-recipes#71200 · Update ariba: pin setuptools… It passed CI, but the main branch has been updated in between so I'll be updating my branch. It pins
    setuptools <80.9
and bumps the build number. ariba imports
    pkg_resources
, so a fresh install with today’s setuptools (84.x) fails with
    No module named 'pkg_resources'
. From 80.9 onwards it also prints a deprecation warning that breaks
    ariba version
parsing. This is blocking the Seqera container migration of the nf-core ariba modules: nf-core/modules#13570. Thanks!

Hello there, sorry if this is not the right channel I was wondering about all these Rust tools and re-writes we had lately, and the fact that they often come with pre-built binaries hosted on Github Is there a way to integrate them as
    nf-core/modules
without having to add them to Bioconda ? It seems a bit over-complicated to simply “wget my_binary” (or “cargo build”) Thanks !
