    Functionality. You may not use the Slack API to replicate or compete with core products or services offered by Slack. You acknowledge and agree that Slack has or may in the future offer products or services that are similar to your Application, and nothing will prevent Slack from doing so;

    Commercial Use. You may charge for your Application. However, you may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, or syndicate access to the Slack API.

    yeah it’s an easy import, so if they kill slarck it isn’t like we put a ton of effort into it

    My gut feeling is that slarck will get shut down sooner or later

    This is why I prefer at least something external were we/somebody can export an import in to a database(mysql/mariadb) and have an small UI to search and stuff like that...

    That mean creating/develop something from scratch basically...

    I think one of the export viewer projects I linked above is a react frontend with search

    So it may work out the box, we would just need some free/cheap node hosting

    I’m willing to do a digital ocean vm but might need help with the front end. Not great with Linux.

    FYI I only discovered this channel because of a discussion elsewhere…anyhow. The main issue is that we are losing valuable discussions when the history cuts off. However, I find searching in Slack while a little better than searching the forums, still isn’t the ideal way to find solutions. It kinda seems like if we are simply wanting a good “source” for examples / solutions / documentation (the kind that is lacking in the NS Help/SuiteAnswers/Forums), a Slack history isn’t necessarily the best format for that. Really we need some perfect combination of a well-organised, tagged/categorised wiki+comments AND related discussions. Not sure how best to achieve that.

    Even something as simple as a place where people can post snippets / solutions and tag them would be a good start. The forum is rubbish. Searching it is a nightmare which makes it basically useless.

    The problem with the above is getting people to actually start to use it and post stuff in there. Nobody will come to it if there’s no content.

    Hello, question about Posting Transactions and data migration. Is it possible to import posting transactions into Netsuite will Billed Status? Is it possible to import posting transactions without it having an impact on GL accounts?

    Hey @Sue Bhuvan, check the channel topic 😄 try asking in #CBQ338ZE0 or maybe #C29J1BPM3. But short answer is you will have to do reversing journals.

    Hi All, can you share some ideas around how to migrate open projects into NetSuite with remaining billing amount and deferred revenue linked to project. Revenue recognition method must be project completion percent

    Hi All- We recently migrated from one NetSuite instance to another to separate from our subsidiaries. One oddity that we are trying to understand the root cause for is that some sales orders, quotes and invoices that have "Custom" Delivery Address fields are not displaying the phone number. This appears to be for newly created records too, not just migrated records. We found an odd hack that if we edit the record and delivery address, select the override checkbox, unselect it {or vice versa, essentially click twice no matter what}, and save the record then the phone number displays properly. Does anyone understand what the root cause of this issue is? Is there a setting or something that needs some adjusting? Other than "Custom" address, we are not finding an obvious trend

    Hello Everyone- I am currently working with a SuiteBundle utilized by over 100 clients, and I've chosen to transition it from its existing Bundle format to the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF). However, I would like to retain the original bundle ID during this process. As I am somewhat uncertain about the implications of SDF migration, I am seeking assurance that this change will not negatively affect our clients. Ideally, I would prefer not to involve them in this process. Are there any critical factors or considerations I should be aware of during this migration? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    We are looking at using a non-posting custom transaction sales order for capturing historical data for a data migration. When tying line items to that historical sales order, the items have to exist, but I also assume that the items have to be in inventory for me to be able to add those lines. Has anyone done this. Do you have suggestions for handling inventory for these items? Should I be generating Inventory adjustments for these historical orders? Would I have to do something like create a location/bin/account where we don't necessarily want to track these assets? Is this the best way to handle this kind of scenario?
