Issue with Google Authentication in Metaplay Deplo...
# questions-and-feedback

Hey everyone! 👋 I've been working on enabling Google Authentication for the Google Play Store in my project. Here's what I have done so far: 1.- Added the following options to the base YAML: GooglePlayStore: EnableGoogleAuthentication: true GooglePlayOAuth2ClientCredentialsPath: "kube-secret://user-google-play-creds#creds.json" GooglePlayApplicationId: [HIDDEN] 2.- Created the necessary Kubernetes secret for user-google-play-creds. When I tested this configuration locally, everything worked perfectly, and Google Authentication showed as enabled. However, when I deployed it to the Metaplay environment, the Google Authentication does not seem to work show has disabled on the OPS panel. I'm not sure what might be going wrong here. Has anyone faced a similar issue or could point me toward what could be missing in the setup? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help! PD: I set Gamecenter too and it works without issues, but on this case looks like something related that doesn't find the Credential.

In the LiveOps Dashboard, when you navigate to the Environment -> Runtime Options -> Google Play Store -> EnableGoogleAuthentication ->
EnableGoogleAuthentication
, it will show in the topright corner of the card the Source file which defined the value. This should show the Options.ENVFAMILY.yaml. If it shows Default, it means yout Options YAML is not being used. If it shows some other Options YAML file, then it means something is overriding the setting. Here's a quick guide how to find guide on setting the YAML files for environments in the Backend/Server/Config/ folder. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1493294622867197992/1493318714068697279/README.md?ex=69de88ed&is=69dd376d&hm=49fcbd40a7990ee0a190506b476f220ef44cdf24d0acd4aa79261ad209f62b5f&
