Hello data peeps! 🙂 I hesitate to post this because I know a lot of people desperately need work right now, and I'm not one of them - I'm lucky enough to be at a point in my life where I am less concerned about earning money and more interested in doing something for which I can feel proud. I'm a data engineer with about 13 years experience in general database stuff (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and 3 years experience in GCP (Google Cloud Platform). I've helped build brand new data teams with fresh infrastructure, consulted with big banks to help scale out existing infrastructure, and spend my free time on my own home server and various projects. At the moment I am unemployed and seeking, but with no great hurry.
