Hey @eager-train-52607, just as a friendly suggestion, for code changes, I would suggest you to provide more details as to why this code should/could be removed. I think ( if i remember) hosPort was enabled to keep the performance to optimal in network communication ( by having direct pod - port mapping with woker node port) outside world in contrast having another k8s network hop ( internal k8s network routing via ingress or ClusterIP setup ).
