more details of the error. I've definitely isolated the issue is with the opus audio track. I'm not currently able to validate if it's for all opus tracks or just the load-test specifically
d
what kind of Egress did you start?
g
track composite
in my use case, we'll have one publisher (audio + video) and many subscribers. And we would want to just record the single publisher
If I join a room via example.livekit.io I can record a track composite of myself. In target the audio published would be opus, so I'd like to get some clarity if there's a problem recording opus
the issue can be replicated with the following steps • run a load test with 1 video and 1 audio publisher • get the video and audio tracks for the participant created • send a request to record a track composite with the acquired track id's
d
hmm the load test opus file is encoded differently from standard tracks. It's possible Egress isn't able to handle this format
g
I can confirm recording is working with opus on our target šŸ‘

thanks for confirming @gentle-fish-74852! we'll file an issue to fix/re-encode these opus test tracks
g
perfect thanks, would be great for the purpose of me setting up some automated tests of our deployment!
