We’re using the
lk
CLI (v2.12.9) in CI to deploy agents. We have two config files —
livekit.toml
(staging) and
livekit.production.toml
(production) — with different agent names/IDs. When running
lk agent create --config livekit.production.toml --silent --region us-east
, the agent gets created with the name from
livekit.toml
instead of
livekit.production.toml
. It seems like
--config
is ignored by
create
even though it’s listed as a global option. Is this a known issue, or is there a different way to use a non-default config file with
lk agent create
?

I don't have the answer you're looking for. You could also try asking your question: • in one of the other Slack channels or • to https://deepwiki.com/livekit/livekit_composite which is trained on all LiveKit source code If you find the answer, please post it here to help others!
