Hello Community,
I have a Setup of self hosted livekit , sip server , kamailio and an AI agent.
Now all there are running as pods in my AWS EKS cluster the cluster itself is a public and private type. Now If the cluster is placed in VPC public subnets with associate public = true so the elastic public IPs are associated to every EC2 created by EKS node group. then the call and two audio work perfectly and call communication is smooth. But the requirement is that the cluster should be in private cluster thus the EC2 created by node group will no longer have the Elastic IP on them. Thus after the cluster is private the call is connected but audio is lost.
In the setup kamailio pods have elastic IPs and a NLB to which those IPs are attach thus the sip signals are passing even if the cluster is private. But the channel for Audio is lost and I am unable to diagnose it.
So anyone in the community faced a similar issue or have a idea what could when wrong?
