Hi everyone, please be aware that we have a new community forum at community.livekit.io and the plan is to move support for this channel into that new forum. I understand such a move will not happen overnight, but LiveKit staff will start to prioritise the new forum when answering community support questions. why don't you guys move to discord?

We did consider it, along with other options such as GitHub discussions. For every person I spoke with who advocated for Discord, 2 others argued against it so in the end, we didn't go that route. There are all sorts of discussions on Reddit right now with a community effort to create a Discord replacement that uses LiveKit for media exchange, brought on by Discord's decision to introduce age verification - maybe we should adopt that if the project ever gets off the ground 🙂
