Hi, Any ideas how to deploy on-prem egress server with gcp bucket that has workload identity? Does egress server need a GPU? My requests are going to egress but they are getting aborted and not pushed to the bucket

Egress need good CPU, gpu powered rendering is still an open request

Logs are not showing much, check if the room is active, the logs show its waiting for the egress to join and start recording, but fails to do that

on the room side there is no issue, I do not get any errors

I would suggest instrumenting egress code to figure out where it fails

You need to bind a workload identity with write permission to the egress service. the binding is a little different depending on whether you use k8 or vm. I gave claude access to my gcloud cli and it made it work 😉

My issue was with google chrome not able to connect internally for roomcomposite. I updated the egress version
