In the LiveKit React SDK, clients connect using both publisher and subscriber peer connections. Typically, all clients start by establishing a subscriber connection to receive media from others in the room. They switch to being publishers when they actively share their own media, like turning on their camera or microphone.
If you notice that your clients aren't publishing media, it might be helpful to double-check that they’re calling the right methods to publish their audio/video tracks. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like some guidance on how to enable publishing or if you’re running into any specific issues—I’m here to help!
