• Check SIP Endpoint and TLS Settings: It’s important to use the right SIP address and transport protocol. For Telnyx, the endpoint should be <http://sip.telnyx.com|sip.telnyx.com>, and TLS should be enabled on port 5061.
• Validate Number Formatting: Setting the destination number format to +E.164 in Telnyx helps ensure everything is formatted properly.
• Firewall and IP Accessibility: Let’s confirm that no firewalls are blocking SIP traffic from Telnyx to LiveKit on the required ports (5060 for UDP/TCP or 5061 for TLS).
• Dispatch Rule and Agent Configuration: Make sure there’s a valid dispatch rule in LiveKit to handle the incoming number, and check that the agent configuration aligns with this dispatch rule.
If you’re still running into issues after these checks, it would be helpful to review the SIP logs from Telnyx to see if the INVITE is being sent and to look for any response codes. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like me to guide you through any of these steps—I’m here to help!
