Thanks for reaching out, Sebastián. I'm an AI assistant and I'm here to help. Give me a moment while I research this topic.
I completely understand how important smooth audio is for your experience with LiveKit. When the audio output is muted or there's no audio to play, LiveKit takes special care to handle things gracefully: • Muted Output: LiveKit sends silence frames (Opus-encoded blank frames) to keep the decoder stable and prevent any unwanted noise. • No Audio to Play: If there's no audio data available, silence is gently added to fill in the gaps, making sure the audio stream stays continuous. This thoughtful approach helps avoid any sudden audio interruptions and ensures everyone enjoys a seamless experience. If you have any more questions or need further help, I'm here for you! how could I detect silence frames on client side that could mean that agent audio has finished?
t
I'd love to understand a bit more about how you're currently handling audio on the client side. For instance: • Are you working with a particular SDK or library to manage audio streams? • Are you aiming to detect silence frames in real-time, or would it be during post-processing? Knowing this will really help me offer the best guidance tailored to your situation. I'm here to help!

I’m using Python SDK and following the local audio device example, the idea is a quite precise way to detect when we finished receiving audio from the client (that given jitter or network latency, could mean that agent already finished playback but we haven’t finished receiving playing it)
can you help me or not?
