To configure your SIP trunk to use the G.722 codec for HD Voice with LiveKit SIP, please follow these steps (specific to Telnyx):
1. Enable the HD Voice feature on the phone number you want to use. This can be found under
Number → Voice in the Telnyx portal.
2. Enable the G.722 codec on your SIP Trunk. This setting is located under
SIP Connection → Inbound in the Telnyx portal.
3. It is recommended to leave the G.711U codec enabled as well for compatibility purposes.
Please note that Twilio does not currently support HD Voice, so this configuration applies specifically to Telnyx for US customers. Let me know if you need further assistance!
