1. I'm not familiar with Azure, but I think that sounds right. 2. There isn't from us. 3. You'd enable prometheus_port in the config 4. OSS livekit would not be able to handle that many viewers. Cloud uses a novel server-side mesh architecture to scale a single room across multiple servers. We do offer a licensed version of Cloud for those that are interested in running on your own.. But this would most likely carry a higher cost (hosting, operationally) than just using LiveKit Cloud

Hi David, We have a startup project. Actually we don't get invesment yet. So we are searching open source project. Why isn't it be able to handle many viewers? Does the Livekit architecture have to be in one room and the audience only in that node? Also we have 150k $ free credits in azure. So if we find any open source webrtc sfu that would be great for us.

Hello again @dry-elephant-14928 , I wonder 2 things in oss. Actually if we decide to use livekit and a room needs to 1000 over participiant in our app, we could use livekit cloud. But in less then 1000 particiapnt case, i wonder How it work scaleable artcitecture in the following case; • We assume a room handle 1000 viewers and only one livekit server at that time • Starts room with 700 viewer and a publisher • starts another room with 100viewer and a publisher • add a node in cluster • Then room 2 increase viewer from 100 to 500 What will happen in this situation? Will the small room move to the other node? Or will it start having connection problems?

Hey @important-plastic-16886, the rooms would not be moved to a bigger server. you can do this manually though. but it would not be seamless to the users in the room.

Hey @dry-elephant-14928, thanks for response first of all. Is there anything harmonize livekit oss and cloud. I think it could be great when server hasn't enough resource, to be able to convert cloud into service with very little disruption.
