Which client are using? How are you testing this? Are you using some load test set up? If so, could the load tester be getting overloaded?
b
standart web-client It's real people
f
Thank you. Is each one publishing camera + microphone? How many videos is each subscriber subscribing to? cc: @polite-kilobyte-67570 Anything that Igor can check on client side for this?
b
All participants are in the same room. There are no more than 20 video publications on the client’s screen, usually 1-3 participants speak, the others turn off the microphone.
p
could you grab the console logs (with debug log level enabled) if such an occurrence? Are you using react?
are you saying that there are 20 streams visible at the same time?
b
Yes, we display up to 20 participants on one page; as a rule, participants turn on web cameras.
Yes, use react
Do you think this is not a problem with the server? Not in its configuration?
p
Unlikely, but hard to tell without a way to reproduce the issue. you could run a test session with on cloud.livekit.io to make sure the issue is not server config related
f
Also, how loaded is the server? What machine do you use for the server? Any errors/warns in server logs?
b
8 VCPU/16 Gb RAM Not have any error in logs
f
Thank you. What Lukas suggested would be the best • If you can try a session against LiveKit Cloud, that would narrow down the culprit. There is a generous free-tier you can try, • Client side logs at debug level.
p
and you can use the livekit-cli to add publishers/participants to your room, too
