Hi @dry-elephant-14928 Here is the scenario 1. A user will initiate a recording by calling an endpoint within our API that communicates with LiveKit Egress Client to start a room composite. 2. So, I wanted to broadcast the user that initiated the recording request. Is there a way to achieve this?

yeah you can either use data channel updates to notify others in the room, or set the initiator's participant metadata to indicate they are the one that's started the recording.
