Hmm I don’t know a ton about PWAs but LiveKit should run fine in a mobile browser, since we just rely on the browser’s WebRTC implementation (@polite-kilobyte-67570 / @eager-zoo-16408 might know more)

It would certainly save a lot of work and make the app better (no need to switch to a native one), but I remember seeing a comment here somewhere that a native one would be preferred.

Hi @thankful-keyboard-4889, If I remember correctly, a major drawback of a PWA to a native app is that permissions are session based and therefore you (or your users) will have to grant video and microphone permissions quite often.
There is a pretty nice PWA to test this quickly: https://whatpwacando.today/ Install it as a PWA and then try the video example, reload and you will be asked for video permissions again. Depending on your application, this could be a deal breaker and something like Flutter might be a better fit for you.

Thanks, will try!
Well, it worked on Android, on iOS it kept asking after every reload. I guess I could still go with the PWA/web/browser version of LiveKit, unless someone has an objection.
