thanks for the detailed report! I’ll look into this.
We had a recent change for enabling multiple chat windows within the same application. Sounds likely that bug sneaked in when trying to make that work.

for reference, was able to reproduce the bug and the progress can be tracked <https://github.com/livekit/components-js/pull/718|here>. Unfortunately there are some corner cases that we need to keep in mind, so it’ll likely need a bit more work.
