In LiveKit, recording is performed server side: https://docs.livekit.io/egress-ingress/egress/overview/ Of course you can still record it on the client side, any standard recording techniques would work on the client side too, as long as it works with video elements

Awesome David much thanks. I found the non livekit repro with examples lateron! This produxt is just awesome. I have a long history with webrtc and this is the best gets me excited like a child 🎉

any change we could get an example for recording a stream? hard time figuring it out livekit+engress running on docker on osx all works but now i try to record a stream of 1 person. im building an opensource streamer for some folks to share some thoughts and want to record the streams, say a tiktok like record video and publish later
