is this before or after device permissons to access the microphone have been granted?

I managed to get that part ficed where label is ' ' but that device id is different on chrome and mozilla

and on mozilla that device id doesent work :disappointed:

I think different device ids across browsers is to be expected.

damm for some reason that id doesent work for the recording package

becuae I need that id to test the microphone with the recording package

ah I see, I'm not sure how they handle device IDs.. we may be passing a different encoding than they are..

Need to figure out some different way to test microphone audio levels on livekit in prejoin screens then.
