In the livekit model, client A cannot mute another user's track. you'd have to either: • make a server API call to mute • mute it from client B

Thanks for the answer @dry-elephant-14928. I'm talking about this https://docs.livekit.io/realtime/client/receive/#enabling/disabling-tracks Client A disables the B1 track. Is this event send to client B? Or just the server knows about it?
d
in that case, only client A and server knows about it, that information isn't shared anywhere else
g
thank you. As far as I understand from https://docs.livekit.io/realtime/client/publish/#dynamic-broadcasting, when A disabled B1, and A was the only B1 viewer, B will stop sending B1 data. So, somehow, B knows about that "disable", am I right. Can you point me to the right direction how B knows that? If isn't an event, is what?
d
The server aggregate that information and informs the publisher.. That data does not include the subscriber's details.
