There are a few ways a participant can leave but the behavior seems the same:
• Using the `DisconnectButton` that's part of the LiveKit react components
• Closing/navigating away from the tab
I've got a session going right now and the participant left by clicking on the `DisconnectButton` ~10 minutes ago but they're still showing as in the room for the other participant still in the room.

That's not expected. Disconnecting explicitly would cause the participant to disconnect immediately.

How are you rendering the participants on the other side? Is it possible that the client code isn't updating the UI properly when the participant has left?

Good question, we have done some changes to rendering the participant's video tiles so that may be possible. I'm looking into it and will get back to you.
