creating and publishing a track like this doesn't work when using vp9, but works when using h264:
Copy code
let video_track = new LocalVideoTrack(mediaStreamTrack, undefined, true);
video_track.source = Track.Source.ScreenShare;
this.room.localParticipant.publishTrack(video_track, {
    name: this.screenshareStreamUUID,
    videoCodec: "vp9",
});
it shows as vp8 on
<chrome://webrtc-internals/>
, and other clients fail to display it

oh that's strange.. which version of the client SDK are you using? it's possible (likely) it's a bug
@enough-zebra-80131 confirmed this is a bug. we'll have a look on our side

I used the latest version of livekit-client (1.13.4)
thank you for having a look!

We found the issue, for some reasons Chrome is rejecting VP9 with S3T3 scalability, have a PR out to force it to use S1T3
