hmm we have a nodejs client sdk in development, cc @magnificent-art-43333 who knows when it will be ready

in the meantime, I’m curious if someone has been able to use the sdk in a headless environment like puppeteer

There is one, it’s untested, and very 0.0.1 😃 I hope to do at least some light testing to make sure the basics work, then make the repo public as an alpha release to the community. Perhaps 2-3 weeks from now?

oh, if you’re looking for general headless clients (ie, you are not tied to node), you can also use our Python client SDK: https://github.com/livekit/client-sdk-python

I saw that, unfortunately am locked to a testing suite written in typescript : /

here at LiveKit we have to maintain many repos in many languages, and based on this experience I agree you should not add a new language to your codebase unless you absolutely must 😅
