I’m not 100% sure I understand your setup, but just to be clear the server-sdk does NOT run the media servers and you can’t connect to it via web socket. For that you have to run livekit-server, documented here: https://docs.livekit.io/realtime/self-hosting/local/
If that helps, let me know so we can clarify the documentation accordingly

Thank you, from your answer, using just server-sdk+client-sdk isnt enough. i tested it before,im on win10, none of installation worked for me. my cpu is 9400f intel. 2 installations show not supported(of course:d). livekit_1.4.5_windows_amd64 just shows a terminal screen and get close after 1-2secs. then nothing happens. (There is a small issue in the next document part, which is that several imports have not been done. like useTracks, Tracks,... reference:https://docs.livekit.io/realtime/quickstarts/nextjs-12/)

Hmm yeah I don’t know if we support Windows for livekit-server ( @dry-elephant-14928 ?) but you might try running it in a VM: https://docs.livekit.io/realtime/self-hosting/vm/

i already have linux server(for my portfolio),i will test on linux-ubuntu and inform result to you. but i think livekit has window sdk for live-server, link : https://github.com/livekit/livekit/releases/tag/v1.4.5 Thanks for your support:X

It should work fine on Windows. You would need to run the server itself if you are looking to self-host

none of windows version work, i test 2 different pcs. but i could deploy it on linux server, both dev mod and prod mode.now it works with http://myIp:7880.
