is your livekit server using the same redis server?

Thanks, I'll look into this part. I was just running with
Copy code
livekit-server --dev
@able-gigabyte-21598 Sorry I can't find a way to run a livekit server that connects to redis in a local environment. I've seen docker deployments using VMs, which say they need DNS. I want to run a livekit server connected to redis locally and use egress. can you help?

Hello, I've encountered the same problem. I have referenced the following configuration for setting up LiveKit, and everything seems normal. However, when using the livekit-cli to record, I entered the following command:
livekit-cli start-room-composite-egress --request request.json
I encountered an error:
twirp error unavailable: no response from servers.
I am using self-hosting to set up the LiveKit server and LiveKit-egress, but the recording doesn't seem to succeed. Did I miss any settings or configurations? Thank you. https://docs.livekit.io/realtime/self-hosting/deployment/

hello. It was held because of Chuseok. It's not clear if the problem is already being resolved, and there's no response from the sending server for calculation purposes. Install a branch properly connected to redis and livekit on the egress location host. https://docs.livekit.io/egress-ingress/egress/self-hosting/#running-locally

Thank you for your response, but I still haven’t resolved the issue. I have checked the egress log records using docker logs. I'm unsure whether the error regarding the CPU quantity is the reason for the failure?

Yes, it says there is not enough CPU available (2 available, 4 required)
