await
the

call?

Nothing helps. It even seems it has nothing to do with the livekit SDK. I tried replacing it with:
Copy code
navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia({ video: true })
			.then(function (stream) {
				const velem = $(`#test-video`)[0] as HTMLVideoElement;
				  velem.srcObject = stream;
			})
			.catch(function (err0r) {
			  console.log("Something went wrong!");
			});
and still not working..
Not a word from other people having issues with the iPads?
I run my code as a web app under iOS. If I run my code as a web page, all works well...

interesting, as a PWA or within a webkit view in a compiled app?
c
as a PWA
Now for the fun part 😞 ... if I close the PWA version completely, then start it from within Safari, it will work, BUT also the PWA version will work for a single instance.. If you restart the PWA version, it will not work again.. major iOS issue.. again... v16.6.. also appearing on 16.3 I see...
I have tracked the bug: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=252465 Its a iOS 16 bug.
