Hey @plain-whale-32547 . The server sdks let you create a room with metadata and then you’ll want to turn off automatic room creation. As for hooks, this works for me:

Thanks Neil I’m trying to follow the trail in the code you published on when the Room is created. It seems that there’s no direct call to createRoom function anywhere and the room is retrieved as part of the protobuf when joinRoom handler is called (webhook flow) or from the existing ListRooms. The flow I need to support is: 1. User enter details in the client side and click create 2. Server creates the room with metadata that the user entered in the client side 3. both user and GPTParticipant join the room. Will that require additional endpoint on the go service (server.go) that gets the metadata before the join handler?

What language is your backend in? Go?
