Hey, please don’t mention folks directly. We try to read and respond to every message and we will pull in the appropriate folks from the core team to help.
Recordings are not stored in a cloud bucket on LiveKit’s side. If you are using mp4, the recording is temporarily stored within the egress docker container, and then uploaded to the cloud bucket you’ve specified when the recording is complete. The recording file is then deleted post-upload. If you are using HLS out, only segments are temporarily stored in the docker container and uploaded incrementally to your specified cloud bucket. Segments are deleted after they are uploaded.
