07/14/2023, 1:15 AMI just used EGRESS docker and the default frontend demo. Use the CLI command to make EGRESS start recording the meeting. When the recording was finished, it was found that if the user turned off the camera and microphone authorization before entering the meeting, they would not appear in the recording.

07/14/2023, 6:25 AM@little-application-1932 do the users publish after joining the room? If not, that's actually the intended behavior.. only users that are publishing are recorded.
given these are default templates, it's not possible to satisfy every use case. What we have optimized for is recording everyone who's a publisher. Imagine in a scenario where there are two users publishing, but 100 users observing passively (no microphone or camera published), it would not be a good idea to record placeholder avatars for those 100 passive participants.
if you are finding that publishers are not being recorded, can you provide the steps that you are able to reproduce the issue?
otherwise, if you are looking to record every user in the room regardless of if they are publishing or not, I'd recommend forking the default templates and customizing them to fit your use case.
