I think I am experiencing a strange bug.
steps to reproduce:
- navigate to: https://www.linen.dev/d/Logseq
-  search for:
> i used to hate taking notes. i would write something down and I would never see it again
- click on the returned result. 
- Linen returns a 404 error
Question: is this due to that message not being indexed yet?

thanks for reporting that, the issue was that the conversation from the result is from a hidden channel, thats why it throws 404. We fix it already so the conversation will not be shown on the search result

Its a channel we archived; we want to link to this message still without having the channel show up on our Linen.dev channel directory.

Is there a way to share a link to a message from a 'hidden'/archived channel?

does this mean when a server archives a channel; all messages links are going to become broken? 

a huge part of lenin is being able to share messages publically; there should be a way to handle archived channels.

@b066f0ba-8ffb-4505-be65-c6ad4ce65f1b currently we don't support archived channels, if you hide the channel it will hide all conversations from search and from the sitemap, also for crawlers. I like the idea to be able to archived a channel, please be free to open a request to us https://github.com/Linen-dev/linen.dev/issues 

I've created a github issue here https://github.com/Linen-dev/linen.dev/issues/965. We're revamping the search this next two weeks so might be able to fit this in
