Hey team, I am working on setting up LightDash to work with some internal Uber services. Thanks to the well organized and documented codebase, this has been fairly painless. None the less, the changes made have required editing a number of core lightdash files which make it somewhat difficult to continually merge the latest changes from upstream. I'm curious if there have been any discussions about adding a module or plugin system to the service. In particular, Uber needs to be able to: 1. Add middleware, specifically for authentication 2. Add custom warehouse clients 3. Add custom routes for both front and back end Let me know if this has already been discussed and any suggestions on how this would work. Thanks

Hey @Donovan Allen I’m glad to hear that you are configuring Lightdash to your needs at Uber! To support this more flexibly on our side would require some architectural changes but I’m sure we can get something to work. Do you want to catch up over a call tomorrow to go through some of the details for how you would like this to work exactly?

If the team is supportive, I would actually like to take a stab at making these changes. I can share out a doc with my proposal and the team can review and let me know. How does that sound?

That's great to hear Ian, as we move forward with this process, Uber has requested to review an CLA which I would be required to sign in order to contribute to the project. I was unable to find reference to a CLA, but if there is one could you please provide a link for legal to review.
