Hello there, is it allowed to translate the resources, presentations from official documentation in order to create the contents and video tutorials in our local language? Besides this, may I create official documentation website in our local language under the domain? Thanks!

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to share that I’m testing my very first app, WordFlipster, and I need your help to make it better! 🙌 WordFlipster is a fun word game where you reverse words to solve puzzles—it’s simple, challenging, and great for all ages! 🧩 Since I’m new to app development and still learning as I go, your feedback would mean the world to me. Here’s how you can help: 1. Opt-in to the closed test via this link: [https://groups.google.com/g/google-group-closed-testing-2] or [https://forms.gle/1TRSvwqavVzLiFmHA]. 2. Try out the game and explore the features. 3. Share your honest feedback—what you liked, what could be improved, or any bugs you find. The test only takes a few minutes, and you’ll get early access to something I’m truly passionate about creating. 🌟 I’m incredibly grateful for any support or advice you can offer as I learn the ropes of app development. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions. Thanks a ton in advance! ❤️

kodee welcoming If you teach programming to beginners, especially at the high school level, we have exciting news! We are working to bring Kotlin support to BlueJ, a very popular beginner-friendly IDE for teaching programming. We expect beta versions to become available for testing in the Spring, and full support being released later this year. Check out the blog post for details and stay tuned for updates: Announcing Kotlin in BlueJ

I am delighted to see this development and the collaboration that is behind it. On the premise of Ghandi’s aphorism, might I ask that some support for rendering any Markdown files within a project directory be included as an additional feature for the app. I found .md files alongside code file in a learner project a neat and effective way of managing all sorts of documentation including tutorial guidance, code reference, test data, design notes etc. Again thanks for bringing Kotlin and BlueJ together!

Hey! I discussed conducting Kotlin workshops at our college with the Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department and received approval to start them next month. I'm planning to introduce Kotlin and Jetpack in the workshop. Does JetBrains offer anything that could excite students and encourage participation?

Hello, Im a teacher at a vocational school in Germany. This year I use Kotlin in one of my classes. Some of my colleagues are not very happy with this decision. Their main argument is that Kotlin is to different from C++ and the pupils have to learn C++ in their second year. I think learning to programm is more about concepts and to learn a different syntax is not too hard but I see their argument. In the next two weeks we meet to choose a programming language that everbody should teach. So, I have the chance to convince everbody else of Kotlin or I have to use Java😥. Do you have materials about the benefits of learning Kotlin as a first language?

Basis of programming are the same in all languages, (conditionals, loops, functions, operators, data types, arrays) the most important thing for students is to develop programming logic and learn to solve engineering problems by developing applications

Hello, is there something similar to Python-Kara https://elbecker.de/kara/?exerciseUrl=https%3A%2F%2Felbecker.de%2Fkara%2Ftest.karaex or the Java-Hamster https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java-Hamster-Modell in Kotlin? Im looking for a playground in which students can move some object with Kotlin. I am not a big fan of these tools but some guys at my school are against Kotlin because there is no such tool for it.
