Hi everyone! πŸ™‚ I've used Kedro in the past for DS projects/pipelines. Most of my use cases involved 'databricks-connect'. My new use case is a bit different in terms of size and complexity: I'm planning to move a company entire pipeline from a traditional dwh ETL to Kedro + Databricks. I've seen the release the of 'kedro-databricks' but I have some doubts regarding the interaction with Databricks native Delta Live Tables. Has anyone already tried it?

Hello. I hadn't heard of Kedro till today but just listened to @Juan Luis on Inspiring Computing and was inspired. Kedro sounds like it was written for me, currently working as a senior research scientist, using pandas, scipy.stats, statsmodels, PyMC, ..., and tying it all together with Snakemake. I'm working through the tutorial and am inspired further. I do have a question though, which I'll ask over on #C03RKP2LW64.

Hello everyone!!! I'm a Product Engineer acting as a Product Owner and we're building Data Products on Kubernetes with Kedro. I joined the Slack to learn and share concerns. For the moment we are able to deploy and integrate with FastAPI and Streamlit in addition to Kedro and the truth is that so far things are going very well. We also integrate against our BackEnd, our Front (our own data marketplace) and applications such as BI platforms.

About what I am doing: I've watched the entire *Juan Cano tutorial because I want to help the team who are stuck. Great job Juanlu! After reviewing the documentation, I was able to use the Omega configuration to access the catalog and thus add a data security interface to the data product in the Kedro way. That's more or less where I am, starting to dig in.

But first I'm really happy to be a part of you and thank you so much πŸ™Œ

Hi, I'm Theo from the Netherlands. For my master thesis on recommendation systems I am considering Kedro for various experiments. Also because the resulting models will be used at my own company - and therefor I want to setup automated pipelines and reproducibility from the start on. I am highly interested in the automated Azure ML deployment with Kedro such that going from local dev to production is a seamless experience πŸ™‚

    Shah

    10/21/2025, 5:44 AM
Hi and Good morning! Although I started communicating in "questions" already, I hadn't introduced myself. I am Vaibhav Shah, originally from India, where I started working as a software developer in the past century πŸ˜„ while still studying, but now living and working in Portugal for the past 18 years. Here, I teach Information Systems at a university (where I did my PhD in AI for industrial engineering), and now a fulltime researcher in Data Science and Machine Learning group at a Co-lab, where we were introduced to Kedro by a team member. We have adopted it as the de-facto framework to implement most of our projects 😊. I am working in AI since 2004-05 (while finishing my Masters in the field in Russia). So I'm more of a classical AI person, i.e. implementing everything from scratch, and considering various approaches, not just deep learning based. A lot has changed since I started, both in the software development, as well as AI-DS-ML. So, adapting to work with the abundance of AI-ML toolkits, frameworks, libraries etc. that we have today, plus the collaborative platforms such as Kedro. Finally, as I see many Indians in the Kedro team, I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Sparkling Diwali, and a Happy New (Vikram Samvat) Year. πŸŽ‰
