👋 I keep wishing there were a way to quickly view the values of referenced secrets. Right now, it seems like the only option is to go through the three-dot menu to open the secret references, which adds 3 extra clicks! Even something similar to the “reveal values” button would be a big improvement; it could even live right next to it Otherwise, great product so far!

personal overrides don’t seem to update secrets that reference that override, our use case EXPO_PUBLIC_SITE_URL is referencing SITE_URL because it needs EXPO_PUBLIC as prefix, but we don’t want to use the var with EXPO_PUBLIC prefix everywhere. if i override SITE_URL personally EXPO_PUBLIC_SITE_URL is not updated as personal. Is this a bug?

just started using Infisifcal and love it thus far, but I've noticed our ci I need to do the following to solve an issue.

I noticed that the infisical docker image is pretty huge (v0.160.7 is 2.2GB). So, I went through the layers that make up the infisical docker image using dive, and I see that Oracle DB is installed for some reason? It’s installed in

/opt/oracle

and adds about 350MB to the image size. I was wondering if someone could help me understand why oracle is installed in this image and what purpose is serves?

Project ID is required when using machine identity

Hi! It would be really cool if Infisical would have an IDE plugin (for example for JetBrains) allowing to inject the environment variables to the runtime. The problem with using the Infisical CLI is that when using it the process is Infisical's process (not the one of the application) and the debugger fails to attach to the process. If the debugger doesn't work, you lose very helpful utility in development and the only alternative is generating .env files using Infisical CLI (and from my understanding it's not a good practice to save .env files locally on the machine). Great product. Are there any plans to support slugs for invocations with —projectId? It's a minor thing but would make usage much easier in scripts.

Another minor thing that would be great is an output format for “infisical secrets get” that is shell-ready for eval. So that something like: eval “$(infisical secrets … )” There are two issues. No export, which is easily worked around with sed. But also there is no escaping for multi-line values, which feels like a bug to me.

Also the Kubernetes operator docs could use a little love. Honestly, just a fully worked multi-manifest yaml with inline comments is all that is needed. I'm sure these exist somewhere. It’s all very simple and intuitive when you see it all put together. I'd just put a link to some sample recipes in github.

Certificate Management is great. It would be great if the CLI could perform the basic functions (cert request, download key+cert). Even if that isn't a feature that people would use long term, it’s a day 0 sort of thing that would be nice.

We encountered a strange implementation regarding the Github connection. We configured a project-scoped connection in Infisical to one repo in our Github org and then another connection in another Infisical project to another repo in the same Github org. Now we can see in any of the two connections, synchronization options for both Github repo. We would however expect each connection to only offer synchronisation related to the selected option (when configured the connection for the Infisical project) and not all the allowed repositories in the Github Organization. Do you plan on restricting the repositories exposed through the connections?

I'm on the Pro plan and just realized I don't have access to create Groups because it's only available for Enterprise. This seems like an odd choice. My company is less than 10 employees (definitely not an enterprise), but groups are important for us. Any chance you can move Groups to Pro plan or bump us to Enterprise?

Hello my friend is starting to use infisical a lot for his startup. An issue he is having though, is he wants to store both secrets and non secret environment variables in infisical. However its confusing to him which is a secret and which is a non secret variable, since there is no distinction in infisical. So it would make it a lot easier for him to use if there was a distinction in infisical for this.
