, it seems that

event.detail.target

contains the HTML element that will be swapped out. Would it be possible to get a reference to the element that will be swapped in in that callback? That might enable that I can initialize some html element before it get's swapped in by running some JavaScript and thus avoid flickering. Not sure if that is possible before it is actually on the page, but I would like to try it. Any idea how I could do this?
