I've played since 0.5 and I felt like the 0.6 update was making things harder (despite release notes indicating otherwise), because I believe that some of the items and upgrades got nerfed - without any tangible proof of any actual nerfing (I don't have numbers to compare, so maybe they weren't), it just felt like 0.6 was a lot harder due to it.
in higher levels it's also hard / impossible to evade because creatures come from literally every direction. maybe there was a rework of how creatures spawned in 0.6 and how they surround you (it might have been the same in 0.5, I don't really recall if it changed). you can try to slip through the ranks, but you will always run into some creatures. and most of the time you will evade from most of them, leaving a trail of collectibles all over the place. which probably contributes to the performance issues and stuttering that I have seen - having more than one wave of creatures around and experience points everywhere with your only hope of finding a "collect all ball" to reduce the clutter.
